I will write such an article about this and a few other relatively new ASTM
specs.

Also, did you know we have a steel-related ASTM summary book? It is all
(well, 70 to be exact) the current ASTM specs used in steel construction in
one place. Instead of spending $1,000 for each one or the various volumes,
the custom compliation costs $170 AISC members or $255 for non-members. See
