Hi Chuck,

APA did the portal frame testing, presented in the summary sent to you, in
the late 1980's/early 1990's. At that time cyclic testing was a novelty,
therefore it was not considered - very few lab's including ours even had the
capability at that time to conduct cyclic testing. We do have plans to
conduct cyclic testing on wood portal frame designs.
